History of Khaira / Khero
Khaira (Kaira) is a Sub Caste of Rind Baloch, which is known as Khaira, Khero or Khairani Baloch due to its geographical distribution and population. As Saraiki in southern Punjab and Sindhi in Sindh due to the influence of Khaira or Khero is written and read. In Balochistan and some Saraiki areas even today Kirani, Kaira or Kiro Baloch is written and read. Mohabbat Khan First is a famous person of this tribe About two hundred years ago, the fight of Khaira took place in Takht Hazara and present day Rangpur, which gave birth to the famous character Ranjha in folk Story.In this battle Mohabbat Khan got full support from the chiefs of Balochistan against Takht Hazara. In the end, according to Balochi tradition, when Mohabbat Khan's daughter was asked to marry a slave of the Takht Hazaras in lieu of murder, Mohabbat Khan and the chiefs of Balochistan completely disagreed with this decision and Mohabbat Khan and his family and Some People of tribes migrated from Rangpur۔And the elders of Mustafa Jatoi gave them shelter۔
